Leroy D. Stone, a former resident of this place, died of Bright’s disease near West Baden, Orange County February 4 at the age of 74. He was married to Mahala Durham 49 years ago. She survives him as do 7 children and one brother, L. Dow Stone. Mr. Stone was well known in this vicinity and has many friends who will regret his death. - transcribed by kbz
